The decomposition for this kanji ignores the fact that 化 is its own character (all the other characters that include 化 reference it as a compound kanji). I understand wanting to introduce this kanji earlier but it’s unfortunate that the connection isn’t made, especially since 化 contributes the reading here.
More generally, it would be nice if uchisen highlighted the compound kanji that provides the reading, e.g. similar to the way this is called out in 花 - Kanjisense.
