We also have 円 for circle. Is there a difference?

I’ll have @Saori answer this one but I believe 円 is most often used for yen and uncommonly used for circular things but I’m not actually sure… Great question!

For circle shapes, 丸 is commonly used while 円 is a technical term like used in math class.
